Okay everyone of my friends knows the situation with dad having to call 911 and him being admitted to the hospital Sunday early evening. Well my son-in-law and I did mangae during the day Sunday to finally install the new interior door and screen door I've been wanting for a long time. I made the final decision about which doors to buy. I opted for the more exspensive and better looking doors. The interior door has the mini-blinds built into the glass which I really wanted. The old door had no window at all on it. This window with the blind makes the dining room appear so much larger as well. It will also benefit the house plants we have in the dining room. It's still unfinished as I need to get new wood trim around the door but here's a photo of the new doors. Thanks all for taking time to read this and mostly for the support with dad's health problems and hospitalization. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

chest of drawers with cabnet, ceder lined - Chest of drawers that my sister in law had before she died.
Wow what a great handy man you are. You have a green thumb and a building one also. LOL I love windows with blinds built into them I think they are neat looking. Sunday my husband and I brought home a chest that was his sisters. We bought it from her daughter. The chester drawers are all wood with ceder lining. One side is cabnet and the other side is drawers. The drawers cannot come out and the shelves of the cabnet do not come out they are screwed in. My hubby and I had a heck of a time picking it up into his pickup. He and I are strong I was not sure what we where going to do if we could not get into the truck. LOL I will post a photo of the chest.

Both Doors - This shows both doors but also highlights the bottom brass piece.
Yeah I spotted that also. I usually make sure that I am positioned so that my image doesn't show nor the flash shows in mirrors and or glass etc. HAHAHAHA!! Thanks also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

This is a very professional job. My hubby would be impressed, as he is into home remodelling too, when he has the time & we can afford it.

Screen Door - Had to have the brass highlights and the fancy door handle
Thanks a lot, Here's the screen door taken from outside. The screen is the type that rolls up when you roll up the storm window so you see clearly and not the screen pattern. I love this door. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Yeah...what a smart brain and ideas that you have. Great efforts and enough to get 4-in-1 benefits, Grandpa Bob; 1. new "feng Shui" 2. photosynthesis for indoor plants, 3. to commemorate and inaugurate a "welcome back" daddy from hospital, & 4. an 'exclusive' looking, the "miracle" door. Door means opening for entrance, entrance of new life and good spirit into your mind, Grandpa Bob. Thanks for your sincere providing this "miracle door", Grandpa Bob!!!. :::michael:::

I like it. My grandmother and grandfather used to have a door like that coming into the house from their garage. The window on it had a glass on the back side of the blinds too so all you had to do was use this little knob thing to open up the blinds. Is that how yours is made?

Great job Grandpa Bob - I must say I am very impressed honey! I would love to get new doors fitted on my house but it costs a fortune and I know my other half wouldn't be able to save us money by fitting them! Well done you! xxx
