I have math homework... i need to know Distributive Property for Algebra 1. I dont need answers like most lazy arses... i need to know HOW to do it... Here's the example: USE DISTRIBUTIVE PROPERTY TO FIND THE PRODUCT. 7 * 98 = 7(100 - 2) = 700 - 14 = 686 thats the book example. I have NO clue how the heck they get 7(100 - 2) then to 700 - 14, then finally 686!! Can someone please explain this to me in Layman Terms so i can pass this assign?? Thanks a bunch! Ur awesome. P.S, This is an EXAMPLE from the book... not the assign question...and i already know that whole ab+ac thing...so just the one above i need to know. TY!
