I mean think about we all have somebody in our life's that we ask a lot of. Is there one person in your life that does a lot for you? What would you do if that person was no longer here? My hubby says that i rely on people way to much and I need to become more self sufficient. I do ask a my family and friends for a lot of favors. But I also return them Im not a selfish person by no means. I wonder if there is at least one person in everybody's life we just could not do without.

I pretty much do things myself unless my husband does it for me. I think my husband and son could not do without me ever. They would be lost if i was not here.

The greatest thing my parents gave me was that I had to be independent to a great degree. While they wanted
me to be sociable and unselfish, and not to refuse a
kind offer of help, they also wanted me to learn essential life skills.I have taught myself most of
the necessary skills such as driving, cooking, business
and many of the everyday activities that one needs to
live a normal life.I have become independent to a great degree, but I have been reliant on someone or
another many times so far in my life, and I think I will be many times more.People do want to feel needed
and I think although you could have got by on your own, someone will feel really happy to hear you say
"Thank you I could not have done this by myself" !!LOL!!!!!!!

it's only since last year when my siblings moved out to other cities,i started to notice that how much i was relying on them. i miss my sisters who helped me so much with different things. i really miss my brother whenever there's a problem with my computer!lol though it has done some good to me as now i am starting to learn these things myself and that way i am learnig new skills which otherwise, i guess, would have been almost impossible for me to learn!:)

I was the person that was relied upon to much and when I got sick she was very angry and she did not take it well. She was really angry and treated me really crappy at first. I had to tell her off and tell her I did not want to spend any time with her for a while. I also told her that a friend was someone who was supportive and not what she had been teating me. Now we are close but not like we where.

No. I even don't ask money from my husband. Well, I don't have much money, he does. But I don't like asking from him. My mom, even tries to give me money but most of the time I don't accept it. I don't know, I just have this feeling that I would rather give. I give money to people even if I'm broke, and that makes me really happy. Not only with money, with tasks as well. We have maids/servants at home to do things for us, but I wash my own clothes. I know its not right sometimes, but many times I just like to be doing things by myself.

i guess there is always a time when that special person comes ,,where u cant do anything without his.her help or opinion
i guess love is one of the biggest area
then relyin on friends and family is nice,,u get supported for wht u might have done alone,,and if possible might have done wrong,,so its better to have someone than always doin things alone
thnx
