If we knew your age we could give you better information. But I would be willing to bet your parents have given you many notices. My questions to you are: How old are you? how many times have they told you to get a job? if you have a job have you offered to pay room & board if not why not. Something to remember your parents absolutely owe you nothing unless you are underage. If anything you owe them

depends how old you are. I hope your 18 or more and finshed with high school. If you are. Your parents can chuck you out anytime they want. Remember. Once your a grown up. Your a guest in your parents home. Look at it this way. Your over 18. You've finished high school or college. You have a job. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS?? Time to enjoy freedom and learn to be self sufficient and a member of society. Legally. If your under 16. Your parents could get into big trouble kicking you out. Anything else would have to be part of a contract. The ONLY thing legal nowadays is something on paper and signed by both parties.

Are you living in their house or in a rental unit that they own? If you are in their house and you are of legal age then you are pretty much out of luck, there is no notice requirement that I am aware of. However, hopefully you could sit down and talk to them about giving you a decent amount of time to find a place to live. One would hope that parents would just not throw their kids out on the street. Best of luck to you.
