Coffee can cause some heart problem??

Is it true? Actually, recently my grandmother is fond of drinking coffee every morning and at the evening. She always drinks some coffee until one day, she experienced some chest tightness and fast heart beating. So we decided to bring her to the nearest hospital. At that point of time, we thought if she has had high blood because she is not, actually, doing some regular exercises. The doctor then asked if when did the chest tightness start, and my grandmother answered and told that after drinking a cup of coffee. The doctor then prescribed to stop drinking some coffee especially in her age. Is it true that coffee can cause some heart problems?? Does it matter on age?
