Last night was my first ever back to school night. And I have to say...I was disappointed. It wasn't like my back to school nights. The only teachers there were because they were working late, finishing up for the day. It was, in my eyes, a trick to get more support for the PTA and to get more donations. They offered free pizza...but only after you went to every booth that the PTA had set up. Luckily my daughters teacher was there and she let us come in and see what they were doing. But even she said that she doesn't like how they turned back to school night into a PTA attack.
