Strange News Story

I saw one of those strange news stories today about a theft ring. The perps were printing checks on computers and cashing them through a middle man. The twist, however, was that these were former inmates of a jail, and the checks were being written and charged to the system. It seems that upon their release they receive an insubstantial amount of money by check. Some genius decided to take it to the next level. Enough said for inquiring minds, lol.

Yes, Aurone, the criminal mind is unfathomable at times. I always say when I hear of the "next big thing," to come down the pike, that there is someone whose mind is going to work to see how it can be exploited, lol.

As it turns out, gabs, they didn't get away with it. Luckily, some people in law enforcement seem to always keep one step ahead of these crooks.

Some people will try to get away with anything. I think that while we have people in prison, they have all kinds of time to figure things out to do.
