WHAT DO YOU PREFER, LAPTOP OR DESKTOP PC? WHY?

Desktop. I love my thumb operated trackball, which would be a hassle with a laptop. It costs more to upgrade and maintain a laptop. I find the desktop to be more reliable, easier to fix and just more comfortable then a laptop. And I like the desk the computer is on being there so I have a place to set stuff where it won't fall into the couch or someplace that might be hard to retrieve. I don't like a keyboard in my lap or on a surface that moves or is uneven. Maybe someday when someone invents the neural interface... I might be more open to a laptop configuration.

Desktop PC. I have problems typing on laptops.

I prefer a desktop pc due to more of its possibilities A laptop might be handy but isnt too efficient as that of a desktop PC

I build and repair computers for a living and I would suggest everyone would own a Desktop. Laptop computers are always highly priced for the performance. The mobility is good, but for me there still is no match to a good custom built desktop. Upgrading on Laptops is hell.
