WEll the 11th of Oct. I hav eto go see the Chemo Doctor to find out how long this will take. and to start it off it will be with same Doctor that gave my hubby CHemo I really didnt want him but he is a good DOctor and pulls no punches he will tell me exactly what will happen and how long this will take.
At least I have some pounds on me so if I lose it wont urt so much I am thinking.
My hubby had lost down to 120 pounds and it got where he could only take 1/2 the dose he was to take.
Am hoping it dont pull to many memoryies up for me going to the same offise and all.
I am getting all set for it with vit. that build cells and immune system .
I was tipped of for these by an 8 year survivor that took them while in Chemo.

That's not so far off, Lakota and good that you're being seen to quickly. I wouldn't worry too much about having the same doctor as your hubby did because I'm sure he did his very best for hubby and will for you. As for visiting his office, if the memories come back, turn them into good ones... you're following in your hubby's footsteps... taking the same path, and staying close to him, and he's watching over you, his spirit in the office beside you, reaching out to hold your hand.
Sweetheart, I know how in love with that man you still are, and nothing but good can come from so much love. Your numerous friends here are still sending you healing energies and prayers too, which will hasten you on the road to recovery, mark my words. Yours, although called the same thing, is a different strain to your hubby's and your strength and positive attitude will carry you through this, if only for his memory and your family's sake. Think about VMKS... go read that again. He's a great example of strength and determination and I know in my heart that you're just the same as he. You're gonna make it through, my friend.
Brightest Blessings, love and hugs. xoxox

I wasnt to upset by it but sort of hoped that it would be a different one. but then he is a very good Doctor.
I am glad I weigh more than I did then I can afford to lose some where hubby couldnt.
And I thank all my friends on here for sticking by me with all the love and hugs I know I will get thru this. Hubby wouldnt want me to give up for we have this grand daughter here now was his Pretty Girl his nick for her.
hugs and blessings

Awwwww, your hubby sounds as though he was a lovely man. I can understand he wouldn't want you to go and join him yet, and I know with your determination and strength you'll get the job done before you even contemplate leaving.
You know, you are such a modest person. We love you, Lakota and our prayers and blessings will always go with you, wherever you walk. You're a very special lady and we need you here. xxxx

Sweety I do understand how difficult it must be to cope with the cancer , the chemo and going to the same Dr as your late husband did but I also know that you are a strong woman and you will get through it.
I have been thinking of you a lot lately sweety and hope that you are doing well and not in as much pain! I will be here to support you in any way I can if you need me and I know for a fact that there are others here who you are close to that will want to help support you too! xxxxx

My prayers are still with you Lakota. Yes building oneself with vitamins is a good idea, and I believe there is some kind of medication one can take now that lessens some of the side-effects of chemo--maybe you could ask about this? The best and only thing one can do is rest while going through it...and let the body heal itself...Everyone reacts differently to treatment I hear....some people lose weight while others gain...Has your doctor given any hints on how to keep your nutrition needs going? To keep you strong while going through this?
once again, my prayers are with you my friend and take care of yourself! (((hugs))

It sounds as though you are doing your best to prepare yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, physically and spiritually for what is ahead. I think your decision to fortify your body with extra nutrients is a good one and they will no doubt help you as you go through the Chemo treatments. It is wonderful to have the supplements you are taking on such good recommendation from someone who's been through it and is doing well 8 years later. That is what all of us who care about you are pulling for where you are concerned.
I also hope going back to see that doctor does not add emotional discomfort by bringing back memories of what you and he went through together. Just remember your dream in the hospital...and continue to pace yourself and draw from all the love, light and energetic support being sent your way...candles and all!
Love and light filled blessings..
Raia
