I plan on us talking about you know the things that we woman talk about, family, kids, men (but no bashing) money, work. and our life and family goals. honestly if you had something like that where you are from, would you go? Are there things you would be interested in? Please let me know, This is one of my new goals for the new year

Yes, I woudl join a group like that. Ir's nice to have a sounding board and women like to talk about the things they have in common. I like your rule of no men-bashing-- otherwise it could turn into a b*tch session, which isn't empowering for anyone. Good luck with your group!

I might be intersted, but it would depend on if I could fit it into my shedule and how it were set up.
My sister has a group of friends...she actually started a chapter of the Red Hat Society. They go out every Friday for Happy hour.
They seem to have a nice time and talk about random things regarding their lives.
Good luck getting your group started. You might want to place some free adds somewhere and use an e-mail address for your contact info.
Take care.

We have a woman's group in the partment complex that I stay. Most of us stay-at-home moms meet in the evenings when our kids are playing. And we also meet twice a month during the day when the kids are at school (except for the babies of course). We also have a potluck once a month. We talk about anything and everything that might interest us (or even one of us for that matter). Some of the working moms try to make it too...plan out their day and get together. It really is relaxing for us and it helps us a lot too.

I think that is an awesome idea. I would love to join a group like that, but between work, kids, hubby, house and dog... I have no time for anything anymore. It seems like a vicious endless cycle. I hope you are able to start it up and it is a HUGE hit !!

Hello!
I joined a Woman's group before when I was in Philippines, it was fun, as we all were single and we talked and did a lot of things/activities together. Yesterday I met with my friend, her with her church friends formed a group and invited me to join them. I did as it's for a good cause. It's like a charity group and we would raise some funds to help other Filipinos here. I've always wanted to join a charity group and I think joining my friend and her group would be a good idea as I know them and it's an advantage if you're working with people you know. My hubby thinks it's a good idea too. I'm looking forward to all our future activities. I'm excited. *smile* take care.
ciao! c",)
