Okay one of my most favorite songs ever as a teen was a song by aerosmith called You see me Crying off the toys in the attic album. Now I never could understand some of the lyrics steven tyler sang. I would make up words or mumble through them the countless times I listened to it. Or I would rewind (cassettes HEHE) and play it over and over in this one spot just to try to make out the words. The song popped in my head the other day and now it is driving me crazy that I still I don't know these words. Help me figure out the next words to the lyrics.
And I got to be your lover, hon,
let me take you to town
And I'll show you everything around
Cause my love is like a _________?
Thanks Vicki

Hi Vicki,
Steven Tyler can be a little hard to understand at times. Here are the lyrics that I found ...
You See Me Crying
Please say you stick around
And I got to be your lover, honey
Lovin' time after time
And I show everything around
And I never ever let you down
'Cause my love is like a madder round
As a teenager my favourite album was the "Pump" album, and then the "Get A Grip" album! Have a great day!

Okay now it is two for ...is like a madder round.
and two for ...is like a merry-go-around.

I don't remember this song and everytime I do a search this computer freezes up but I'm going to vote for "merry-go-round" anyway. Of the two choices you've gotten so far it makes the most sense...what the heck is a "madder round" LOL
There are so many of his lyrics that I couldn't understand or struggled to figure out. But it never mattered...Aerosmith was too good to quit listening too.

LOL I was thinking the same thing
You're right I think they are great to listen to even if I have no idea what he is saying.

Ok, I did not know the answer, so I looked it up. they rest of the line is "merry-go round". Steven Tyler is hard to understand at some point in MOST Aerosmith songs. Man, it has been a long time since I listened to them. I remember them most from the time when they had Alicia Silverstone in a bunch of the videos.

Cool two for merry-go-around. I was a huge fan and had all their tapes. LOL Toys in the attic was made three years before I was born. I think I had a good 20 or so tapes from them. He is hard to understand at times. This makes me remember the rocker dudes I would date as a teen who would want me to sing the lyrics to a song and then blast me when I got them wrong. LOL
