should roman catholic priests be allowed to marry????

I know this could be a very sore subject to a lot of people, but my husband and I have just had a discussion on this subject. Do you think that roman catholic priests should be allowed to marry? Do you think that it could be a solution to a lot of problems within the catholic church?? Would a lot more young men take up the vocation if they did not have to be celibate?? And would a lot more priests stay in the priesthood, rather than leave to marry? Your views and opinions would be greatly apprieciated.... Thanks!!!
