What a scumbag I hope he gets the book thrown at him for hurting this poor innocent baby. Why is it that we are hearing more and more about these worthless parents hurting the own kids.?

Worthless is the right word. This was a senseless way for the father to vent his anger. When a baby cries it's for a reason not just because the baby is bored and trying to upset the parent. I believe that a large majority of the parents that react in this sort of manner are angry with their own lives and it has nothing to do with the baby.
Besides jail time and other punishment, there needs to be a law whereas this happens once and there is not another chance for it to happen again. One strike and the parent(s) is out. Using a baseball theory here only the strikes are 2 less. Don't return the child to the parent later only to have it possibly happen again. Anger management classes should also be a law.

I do too but doubt that will be the case. These abusers usually have a way of convincing the wife it will never happen again. Many times the child becomes a statistic after all the sob stories, promises have been made to the spouse that this problem will never arise again. That irritates me beyond comprehension.

Hi Lifez2short! It is really sad when there are so many news about these kind of abuse. Our blood boils and hope that these people will have the kind of punishment that they truly deserve. but, it is still good to know that the media is covering these kind of news, even how ugly it is because, we are being informed and made aware of that there are many evil things happening to us especially the children, to make us be involved and take action. Like what you are doing, sometimes we don't read newspapers or watch the news but you keep us informed and make us aware of this through mylot even though it breaks all our hearts to hear bad news. Thanks for keeping me informed. Just my thoughts, my friend. Take care and have a nice day.

/facepalm. That's it, I quit. I refuse to believe in the human condition. Might be too drastic, but this and other stories are really pushing me to the edge. I've asked this thousands of times and it seems like the further in life I go the more frequently I ask... "what the ---- is up with people!?" I'm convinced it might be something in the water or air.
I hope this clown gets fractured in the court of law.

I don't get why parents are doing stuff like this nowadays. Your parents are suppose to love you and take care of you. I wish the scumbag could receive the same treatment that he place on the innocent child.
