The buoyant economy , more disposable income at hand and low interest rates has increased the spending power of Indian people. This has resulted people having multiple vehicles and roads have not developed to take the peak traffic resulted to traffic jams and moreacidents.
Will the improvment in public transport system will improve the traffic in indian metros?

India has a lot of catching up to do, and boy are we or aren't doing it faster than most would have thought!
Corruption is quite rampant, and a lot of development is hampered by people who refuse to surrender their properties for road widening, hence raising even more opportunities for corruption and strife. Yet, we are the freest people on earth, only the type of freedom such as ours would allow such flagrant misuse of the laws of the land!

To continue, things are slowly changing, and maybe a few years from now, we may see lesser traffic jams and reduction in accidents?
