I had used internet explorer version 6 last year. I found it very fast and the pages load pretty well. I have used Internet Explorer because there are some special websites that cannot be opened by Opera and Mozilla firefox browsers.
Last month, I decided to download Internet Explorer version 7 with the expectation of being faster and secured to use when compared to the previous version. At first, it is quite fast, but later on, for how many days have passed, it became slow and sluggish.
I am so disappointed with the performance of IE7 and I am planning to go back with the previous version 6.
Have you experienced the same problem as mine? Do you think it is more reasonable to switch again from IE6?

I was the same as you are too. I have been using IE6 and then switch to IE7. I like IE7 because of the new version especially the tab. This helps me much on reducing number of windows item in the taskbar.
I guess you have to updates you IE7 to make it more compartable with your Operating System.

Hi friend. I might think of re-installing again the IE7 and see if it works pretty well now. I am a bit hesitant also of switching back from previous version, as there are some negative issues and feedbacks with it. They say that IE6 is very proned to spywares and other viruses.
On the other hand, IE7 is much improved and well upgraded, as Microsoft Company has tried to make their browser as more secured to use.
What I like about IE7 also is that it has a tab feature, which is the same with mozilla and opera as well. God speed!
