Instead Of Throwing Out Your Dryer Sheets...

Used dryer sheets are a natural bug repellent. Tuck in a cuff or neckline to drive away gnats and mosquitoes. Keep one in your purse in the winter to control flyaway hair. Disposable dusters, great for a quick wipe on electrical equipment i.e. TV, stereo. Tuck into stinky sneakers, they absorb smells and leave behind a fresh odor. Slip over a hanger in your closet to help drive away bugs and keep a fresh scent. Tuck one or two into the storage container for your blankets, they come out smelling great. When dressing in hose rub your legs with an old dryer sheet to control static cling. Pick up animal hair off furniture, and leave behind a nice scent. After laundry use to clean up the lint floating around your dryer. Keep one in your car to wipe down the dash, also freshens the car. Remember, every thing we recycle helps Mother Earth!

you can use dryer sheets for so many things after they have been used you can wipe your mirror down with one and it will not fog up during your shower,it does seem good to reuse them as mush as you can they help to make alot of jobs smell better you can put one in a spray bottle with some water to get a light nice scent to freshen your furniture and carpet.Have a great day.

Thanks for all of the ideas! I always keep ours for dusting electronics with or just dusting in general as they hold the dust so much better than just a regular dustcloth. I have used them to clean the car too. I also have used them to stuff a beanbag animal that had a hole and lost part of it's stuffing.

Thank you for the valuable information. Using the dryer sheets as a bug repellent I have heard about in the past but have never tried it.

Are these the dryer sheets that have alreasy been through the dryer. I love money saving tips and this is a great one. I have never thought of hanging one up in my closet. My clothes come out of the dryer smelling so good then a few days later the smell is gone. I could keep the smell forever just by changing the dryer sheets. Thanks.

We also use them in our camper over the winter. It makes it smell good when we open it in the spring and keeps the spiders and mice out. I had never thought of all the other uses, Thanks.

I tuck them in my dresser drawers. They are also great for dusting your furniture. You can also use them to remove the lint from the lint traps.

hi lifez2short, Great ideas of extending the use of dryer sheets. I knew of some of them, and have used some. I keep some in the drawers where there are clothes or towels, clean the car, some dusting, under the sofa cushions and in my purse for static electricity. Recycling is always a good thing to do. Happy posting..
