I think this ia amazing and if it helps them we should all try and see what we can do to try to send them some. And it is awesome that the shipping company is helping out like this.

I am glad she found someone to help. I bet the silly string company is too. I wonder how much they use. Who would have ever thought that silly string might save a life. It would be neat if everyone would start sending it.

That is a really good use for it. Now that I think of it, I'd read this somewhere before. I can't remember where or when, but on reading this story again it sounds familliar. As for it being hazardous, why don't they just ship it the same way they ship all other war equipment, instead of having to go through hell to find a company that will? It's a good idea, though.

That is great that what we take for granted here actually helps are soldiers out and they can have a little fun as they go and super that some one is helping makes you wonder what other toy type items would help or like the snow in cans there are so many things that could help out I guess if you think about it.I am glad the lady thought of the idea it was a great idea.thank you for sharing the story with us all.Have a great day.

I find it interesting that our military relies on us to help them. Necessity is the Mother of Invention. A soldier sees something and mom back home finds a way to help. I remember in the first gulf war we sent panty hose over there because our military discovered that they helped to filter the sand that got into the machinery. Same thing with some companys helping to make extra metal protection for vehicles. Bravo to the brave people who figured out a simple soultion to a dangerous problem. Now how come our own government couldn't figure it out. Oh yeah, it would take an act of congress and another Billion or so dollars. I'm glad we have people in this country find a way to do things. Kudos to the company that offered to send the silly string over there for free.

It is awesome that they are helping like this. This is something that is listed on the box in our local walmart where people donate things to across seas and walmart sends them. I didnt even know why they used it. Interesting
