So since starting my latest hobby of sewing I've come across a few excellent craft forums/websites etc etc online the main one being Craftser.org....This place is AWESOME IMO....heres the link for anyone who is interested and if you have additional links to share for craft sites please do!

I just looked at the site. It is totally awesome. I wish I would have the patience to do stitching and quilting but I start a project and then loose interest and it hangs around for years before it is either finished, given away or discarded. Sad, sad.

LOL yea I hear that...I can be horrible for that too unfortunately but I'm in a "do it" mood the past couple months so I'm just goin with it..I have a blanket that I started crocheting about 6 yrs ago and I've not touched it in probably two LOL...I think I'm partly really into the sewing simply because its quick so i see results/the finished project within a day or two which keeps me motivated :-D
Yea Craftster really is a great site! I love it there :-)

Oh good for you. You give me hope. Just this week I was at a friend's house. She was sorting through a huge hamper of wool. She insisted of giving me a huge bag of cream colored wool and suggested I should start an afghan for my sofa. Maybe I will and finish it eventually. I agree with you that sewing projects provide satisfaction much sooner because you can see the results quickly, at least for most projects. Good luck with yours.

I would be tempted to do quilting if that wasn't my mother-in-law's hobby, too. *shudder* I have a hard time with association and I could just never bring myself to do it. I wish I didn't have as much craft-ADD as I do, there are too many mostly-finished peices laying around. The only things I'm more inclined to complete are things with a deadline promised to a certain person or use. I've done a stuffed sheep for my drama class in high school and last year for Christmas I made personalized wooden boxes as gifts.
...And now I'm totally off on a random tangent. Sorry! lol

I didn't see this one mentioned, it's a website with online stores from many talented crafters... Etsy.com I have a shop w/ my user name here and I think it's awesome. They have great forums to promote your items, it's easy to buy or sell (and inexpensive to sell) I've picked up some great ideas from other members about working with polymer clay and there is a few chat rooms. It's really a great site.
Craftster is also very good & I do go there from time to time myself.
