Well for my friends they may recall the downded wire and electrical fire I had in my front yard. Now it's been 2 weeks and the electric company has yet to fix my front lawn. This is the result of the damage. The ground will have be dug down about 18 inches as there is damage that deep from the soil turning into glass from the high temeprature and getting burned etc. It is also going to be needed to be dug about 2 feet across from the size of the burn as well. I set lights all around my yard for the Christmas season and want to get that done before it gets too cold. But they would be very near where the damaged lawn is at. So I have to wait a bit. I tried calling but was on hold for 15 minutes and hung up. I guess if it gets really cold I'll put up the lights then if the electric company comes too fix the lawn then they will have to deal with the lights. Then if they damage them theres another replacement job for them. Here's what the lawn looks like right now. Ugleeeee! HAHAHAHA!!. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Leaning electric pole - Here it is. We've called our power company too many times for them to be able to ignore this, but still they do. I just hope no one gets hurt when this pole finally goes!
I can't imagine the electric company going any faster on this. I used to work for a phone company, and know that it would take at LEAST 4-5 months before they would bury the new phone lines. Do you know how many repairs they would have to do on those lines before they would finally bury them? It seemed like someone was always mowing over one, or the dog would get tangled in the wires. So sad, really. Anyway, when they finally get out to your house to repair your lawn, will you send them to my house? We have a utility pole right at the end of our drive way, and it's leaning a little bit more each year. In the 3 years we've been here, I know it's tipped at least 6 inches. Soon, I'll have the downed pole across my drive, and no way out! I just hope it doesn't land on my car when it falls.

They are probably waiting until the cold of January so they can pitch a tent and pretend they are camping out. Likely start a fire to keep warm. Burn down your prized trees and charge you some fees in the process. I am sure by next June, your lawn will be all fixed..lol.

They may get it done, but as with any public facility, they aren't in a hurry to give something to you as they are in such a hurry to take your payment lol! Well, I would be calling them to find out what the hold up is!
