I first saw her 2 days ago and she always ran away.Last night she was out side and i caleed her,she started to run,but after 15 minutes of persuading and crouching(ow!)she came to me and ate.I slowly tried to pet her but she moved away,i guess she never felt it before, but slowly came around and changed, she loved it and even tried to sit on my lap.It was dark and when she came back tonight i petted her belly and shes PREGNANT!HELP!Shes soo nice and pretty, but is really young.I think its her first pregnancy for sure, she has tiny, tiny little teeth and like oof, maybe 7 months old??Dont know, hmm.I put her in my garage tonight with a litter box and food and a cozy made bed.I dont know what to do,i 2 cats already and it looks like shes going to pop quite soon. Please help me,ive never had a stray cat thats pregnant before.I found nice houses for the others that came to visit, but shes pregnant.Sorry im repeating. Peanutjar:)Id love the advise my friends! And to some people, leave no bad remarks please.:)

I think it's wonderful that you are giving her at least some shelter and food..that's really all you can do for now...and when she has her kitties instinct will tell her for the most part to do, and she should be able to take care of them on her own. You just GOT to keep us posted on this..how things turn out

No--I think you should try to keep her inside...she might wander about and give birth to the kittens somewhere less safe

I just dont know what to do,to keep her there or find a barn of a friends or someone.I just dont know, ive never had a stray mommy cat here before, well now that i think there was one 3 years ago and she was pregnant(in the winter)one day she left for 2 days, came back and was not anymore.I know what happened there,it was cold and full of snow, but me being dumb did not know she was pregnant until she came back and the belly was little.:( I will take a picture of her tomorrow and put it in here.Should i not let her out of the garage tomorrow morning?or let her out and then put her back tomorrow night? The male stray cat is here folowing her,i think hes waiting and is after her. We have a cat previously that gave birth with a three little cute kittens in our house. We did not expect that she is going to deliver her offspring inside our house. We already know that she is pregnant at that point of time, as her tummy is already quite big. One of the hints that you could get if the cat wants to give birth already if she is always looking for food. If the cat is always sleeping and resting and when you are going to touch her, she will get irritated a little bit. Have a nice day and God speed!

She is eating ALOT,its like shes an eating machine, haha.I thought since shes a stray cat, that shes just hungry from not getting enough food.Ive been checking on her in the garage and she either sleeping or eating.Normally a stray cat wants to leave the garage, but she doesnt wnt to go out at all.She looks content and happy that she has somewhere warm,a bed and food. And a big buldging round tummy. Her (sorry)nip*les are big. Yeah, keep her inside & safe - otherwise she might go looking for some less safe place to have the kittens. And the tom maybe going after her to kill the kittens & bring her back into heat, so keep him away from her.

It's wonderful of you, to take her in. Most cats, even young ones, know what to do when the time comes. Believe me, I've seen many births. You just need to give her a nice cozy box, with a soft towel, or soemthing, and feed her, and keep an eye on her, and love on her. They usually become very loving when they're getting close. Sometimes, they will even become mothly to older cats, until there's are born. I've seen that alot. Take care, and congrats on your new babies.

I put a box with a blanket, food, water and a dishpan with litter in it.Shes in our garage, its very cold outside.I dont know what to do,to take her to someone we know who has a barn or what.We dont want another cat,bt i cant leave her outside in the cold with no food and shelter. My boyfriend loves cats, but we have already 2 female house cats who are fixed and he doesnt want another, plus shes pregnant so thats more. There is a male black cat thats hanging around here after her.I think he wants her and is waiting for her to give birth and maybe well,do you think"eat them"so he can get her?? Its like how you see it and how everyone else says it. Its the shape of the cat and usually the underbelly and sides will be a bit bigger. Meanwhile the legs won't match the body perfectly making a slightly amorphous looking cat. Its good to take her in and watch her. No bad remarks here, I don't see what anyone could say though. Try to find better families for the expectant kittens but if you can't or if you feel up to the task then I wish you luck and strength taking care of them.

Hi.Im amazed because my boyfriend never wanted any strays around here, but today he said to me"so your going to keep her?".I was shocked by it,i did not know what to say.I shrugged my shoulders and then he said "its kind of cold in the garage a little while petting her".He loves cats sooo much, but doesnt let on.Its him last night who went in the house and got a can of cat food for her.I was like "HUH?!"He doesnt care now i think because he knows she needs love and is pregnant and is thinking of the babies too.She doesnt want to leave the garage now and this morning i watched her through the garage window. She looked soo contented laying in the bed i made and stretching.I dont know why but today when i saw her i called her "muffin"for some odd reason, haha. Excitement plus. Firstly, as she is a stray, she needs a good check up by a vet. And keep her isolated. As for when the kittens will arrive, well, the mummy will try and hide, so provide her with a selection of hiding places, that are quiet, darkish and secluded. Mine got really playful the day before, and then she hid and I didn't see her until after the kittens were born. And good on you for taking her in. someone gotta do it, and as it can't be me (blasted landlord), then I am glad you can. I would still try to track down an owner is possible, just in case. Don't want you going through the bonding only to have her yanked away again. good luck with it all.
