mylot Interests

I just finished responding to a friends discussion when I was asked if I wanted to add a certain interest to my favs. I don't usually add too many of them, but I stopped and read
"things I want to do with my life... be happy" Well I couldn't put no could I?
So I was wondering, have you added something only because you felt bad or weird saying no. Like no I don't want to be happy in my life. Do you add as many interests as you can? Or are you like me and only add certain ones?

I sometimes add interests if they appeal to me at the time. Having said that, there are some days where I think *why would I want to add this*

haha vic. Yes i have added an interest coz i thought it was cute. But mostly the ones i add is below the belt, lol. No most of my interests are added coz you keep having this damn thing popping up asking you if you want to add, and it will keep doing so until you do so. I think of all my interests maybe 10 of them I have selected myself, rest of them are just there to avoid the nuisance..

Yeah the pop up to add interests sucks and if I see it enough about a topic I finally add the darn thing. Thanks Kim

I don't even take the interest serious when im posting. I will post any subject under any interest depending on my mood. We pretty much have the same interests all of us as we have been 'forced' to add them. Greetings :)

Well to add them, you at least get the icon that shows a discussion started in that interest. It does help connect to other members on those levels.

That is a great question. When I first started mylot, I added ones that just made sense. Like your example, who wouldn't want to be happy? But I've gone through and cleaned up my interests a little. I keep the ones I really feel are relevant, but if I wouldn't be able to start a discussion about the interest, I delete it. A random thought is good, but sometimes it doesn't fit with my list of real interests. : ) So now I'm more choosy about which ones I add.

Hi vicki,
I have so many interests because of that lol. Sometimes I don't have a problem saying no if it's something that really doesn't interest me, but for the most part I cave too lol! Have a good weekend!

I don,t add a lot of interest. Of course, at the beginning, when I start using mylot, I was adding a lot ecause there where things that really interest me. But I think I add a new one once every 2 months lol. I only do it because the Interest goes with something i want to answer more.

i don't really add all of them. i only add certain ones, those that i find applicable to me. :)

Sometimes I just add interests because I get tired of it asking me if I wanted to add this interest. Other times I just say no because I could really care less. Sometimes the interests are pretty stupid. "Hobbies I enjoy.. watching the weather".
ok that's not a good example but you know. things of that sort. LAME.

Yeah I know I did add ones cause I was getting tired of them asking, but lately I have been getting a lot more of them again. And yeah most are lame, that is why this one threw me off guard. LOL

I add plenty of them. You should check some out. I'm like the only member that does a whole bunch of things. Others I'm like one out a few people. I'm also still thinking of stuff to add too.
