http://www.wusa9.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=64270 This has been on the news since Sunday and its really upset me. All because the man was trying to rush through a red light - the fricken idiot! What in the world was he thinking? Brandi, the two year old died and her mother and friends are in critical condition -He even left the scene when the accident happened and was eventually found, arrested and charged for involuntary manslaughter. I just can't believe some people!!!!

I am almost in tears. This is the very same nick name that my sister gave her grandson fat-fat. He is only 19 months old and this could have just as easily been him. It angers me that there are so many careless drivers out there. This is exactly why I do not drive. I would not want to live if I took anyone's life. Much less, a little innocent baby. This jerk had the nerve to run. I would have been in so much emotional torment, they would have had to scape me off the street. I hate to hear these kinds of stories, this is why I avoid the news now. But every now and then, I guess they do me good in reminding me that there but by the grace of God go you and I. I am going to email this to my sister.

Also one of the reasons why I am too scared to drive here in the USA - so many unsafe drivers who try to beat the lights or too much in a hurry and are not patient enough to wait their turn.

I know what you mean. My neighbor has been in two car accidents (not her fault either) and refuses to drive anymore. She is even scared to cross the street or even use a crossing on her own - someone has to be with her.

It seems like people are becoming more and more callous towards others and their only concern after having hit someone, is to get away fast. That man did not have enough patience to obey the law and wait his turn. well now he will be locked up and can think about this silliness for a long time.he killed a little two year old.He will have to remember that all his life.

They sure are. I even don't like crossing the road sometimes because drivers don't even stop when they are suppose to. I let it go when it's just me, but when I'm with my son, I start shaking my fist at them LOL
