For those of you who have dishwashers, do you use liquids, powders, or gel packets in it?

I use liquid mostly. I remember when powder was the only choice...LOL. I'm telling my age here. I find the liquid does a better job than the powder and doesn't leave little pieces of detergent behind. I've only used the gel packets a couple of times. They work fine, just more expensive.

Yep, that is another problem with the powder! I love my liquid formula. I will probably stick with it.

The powder annoys me. It gets all clumped up in the bottom of the box and you have to beat it up against stuff or dig it out.

I have dishwasher, but I never use it... my roommates use it, and use powder packets.

I am single, I have roommates but basicly I live by myself, so to load the dishwasher can take days... maybe the whole week, so I just wash whatever I use by hand...

We use the gel packets and mix it with plain water so we can still save a lot. We are only three in the house now so we seldom use too many household utensils, plates and glasses so the dishwashing gel is not easily consumed.

dishwashing soap - I prefer using liquids than powder because its much easier to use and its foamy.
