Do you actually get paid for your slideshows at AC? I created a slideshow on September 28th and I haven't earned anything on it. I just wasn't sure if we get paid for them or not.

I READ somewhere that AC isn't currently paying for slide shows. You might want to stumble onto AC's forums and ask one of the more knowledgeable posters on there (i.e. Michy, Tsu, theBarefoot, etc). They would probably be able to clarify a lot better than I could.
