I just finshed a really good book, and I wanted to share. It is called "The Time Capsule" by Lurlene McDaniel. It is techniqely a young adult novel, but I enjoy reading those from time to time. Oh, this one was a heart breaker! My favorite books are ones that make me feel some sort of emotion. The last several pages had me fighting back tears. If you are looking for a quick read, this is one I would recommend. Be warned that you may need some tissue, though!

I can't say I have read this book, but I have heard the title before. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it and then try to read it!lol. good books are the ones that take you away from reality and make you feel part of the story.

I wouldn't say this book takes you out of reality, but it does make you feel part of the story. It does take you out of your reality, but the story is sad and very true to real life.

That's what I meant! lol. Gee, sometimes I type faster than I can think. If a book can take you away from your reality and into the reality of the story, then it is a good book. Did I get it right that time? lol.

I think you got it right the first time, too! LOL There are some books that truely take you out of reality, then there are some books that are just a little too real but take you out of your reality. Both kinds are good!

Hope I can get hold of this book though I'm not very familiar with the author. I love to read too, but works and children tie me down most of the time. Will not forget your reminder, to have some tissue. I'll be ready with a hanky too. Hahaha
