Any troubles with Memorex CD-RW

Has anyone else had any troubles with cds by Memorex? I bought these some time ago and don't use a lot, but here lately I have been having trouble writing to them. I get disc errors and I have had them too long to return them to the store. I hope it is just the discs and not my CD writer.
