I'm very much short tempered and a bit orthodox. I try to keep my cool when I'm angry but react in a way which I never like to do it. I always pray God to help me change myself to control my emotions, shed my inhibitions and behave in a more matured way. I always think not to repeat a mistake or abuse anybody for whatsoever the reason be but never implemnt it when I get furious. All my mylotters can you suggest me some remedies in this regard.

whenever you feel like youre angry, try to divert your attention with something else. sing or hum a happy and upbeat songs. try to hug someone else. think of happy thoughts. eat your favorite food. watch the sunset. chew bubblegum. there are a lot of things we should be happy about. just don't let the little things get to you. life is too short to be wasted on anger. always pray to God for strength. he will give it to you.

may be anger is somethig you should control but why should you control all the other feelings. Okay may be not let them go out of hand but I feel we must express what we feel and that is what will make us different from all the other species in this planet. Be human while you do that. I love to feel things and express and I do not want to bottle up my emotions , never can I do so to myself.

You are sounding as when I was 10 years back, I have controlled my anger and emotions by chanting a mantra that suits me a lot. whenever I feel I am on the verge of being angry or emotional I divert my brain from the cause and start chanting "Om Namah shivai: that makes me real cool and later I try to analyse why I was angry then I realise that I was angry because someone behaved badly but then I leave such person s to god and do not expect anything from them.

i do have much patience but there are times that i lost my temper and whenever it happen i make sure that i'll be far from that person or a specific situation that can make me angry again. for instance, my team lead, she just insulted me and i dont like it so just to make sure that i will not insult her back, i just seated far from her. you know, just to keep me calm.

I think taking a time out and taking breathes is very important. I find these the most helpful things for me when I'm upset. Somtimes count to 10 with your breathe.

Hi & Hello, vsraovr. Don't worry my friend you can resolve it as God has laid down all the life system for humankind and done his good job and duty with perfectly well. Now is our turn to make good to ourself. As I read your words one-by-one, thoroughly, it is a quotidian behavior that roams in your body. And in the mean time you have your great taedium vitae, desire and good wish to cast out yourself from that ill tempered zone. My sincere suggestion, take less meat for your daily food intake and not more than your palm size in a month, more on veggies and fruits while you take rice. You can see a great change on your short tempered. For your "a bit orthodox", if you participate in public social activity, it will make you bold and like to be a frontier in activity you involved as you have so many principles in theory and now you turn to practice your knowledge to a very feasible way. Listening to others proposals will make you a good listener and think positive towards the solution findings. The nature-nurture learning system will solve both problems that shrouded your mind and life for now. HAPPY DAPPY.

I can be so bad with my emotions. A good example is tonight with my boyfriend. My god, I was feeling so frustrated, who knows why? I was taking it out on him. I felt so bad but I couldn't control it! I don't abuse anyone but I get grumpy. How do you manage your emotions? It's so frustrating!!
