Do I Have a Problem?

Last week my pc powered down and turned off by itself 4 times in succession. Yesterday it powered down again and turned off 5 times in succession. I wasn't doing anything different than I normally do on a daily basis. This pc is approximately 2 1/2 yrs. old and was custom built. Could my pc be overheating? If not, what could be the possible problem?

You may possibly have a virus. If you haven't already done so I would scan to check or sometimes the best way to resolve such problems is to restore your computer to a previous date before you started having such a problem.

Thanks so much for the help. I did notice it happened 5 different times when I was using Spybot to check and delete certain files. It's been fine all day today. Thanks for responding.
