is my lot cheating me or am I missing something?

I have been on 495 since the last three "new" responses and/or discussions I posted. Why is it that as soon as I am approaching 500, mylot suddenly stops counting my new discussions? I posted at least 2 or 3 new responses that would normally be counted and 3 new discussions and my post count has only moved to 496!! I should have known mylot would do something like that...I am getting a bit disillusioned with this site. I have not broken any rules, as far as I know, and if I did, don't I deserve a message explaining why they are suddenly not counting all my new discussions/responses?

Nope not being cheated just tested. See if you post a response within a post, your #'s don't increase BUT if you 'respond to this discussion' solely without having had someone post before you and your answering, agreeing, disagreeing whatever is yours alone, it will increase.
Right now my number is 583, it should be 584 after I am done here. Let's see . . .

Yep it is 584 and should stay so even if I am now, posting to myself so to speak . . . Understand ?

I understand about responding to your own response and commenting within your own post, and I know that those do not increase post count...but I posted 3 new discussions...they were not comments, or posts within posts, they were brand new...and I also posted 2 new response...i.e. I responded to discussions I had not previously responded to, so those should have been counted...I now see my count has risen to 498, and I think I only posted one other response since my last "complaint" so....I really don't understand it. I don't know about "tested"...that doesn't seem fair!!!

Oh you mean, Starting a New Discussion ? Well those, moderated or not for quality content and whatever they don't like etc, the staff at myLot takes a few minutes or hours depending upon the time of day and day it is. Wednesday during 2am and 9am, bad time to get increase in earnings or postings, seems like that is the 'downtime' when they are tallying and reconfiguring all the pages.

Alo beyond any shadow of a doubt, the staff at myLot has to catch up in earnings daily for all 113 thousand plus people, correctly adjust posting 3's, keep tabs on overuse of bandwidth with too much music, videos and other stuff people put on their page, so it does take time for the programmers. Be patient you are almost there and boy it is so much more rewarding after you reach 500 cause 501 posts is a good accomplishment !
That is alot of people you connected with so just hang in there and talk, talk, talk,...well write, write, write hee hee

See what I am showing you my number of posts, still 584, has not changed cause I am in same discussion, posting to you, myself, others, now do you see what I am talking about? had to show you cause I probably would of gotten us both lost in just simply writing.

Thanks! Don't worry it will pass before you know...but just in case, make sure you devote some time as often as you can to making only posts that count, which would be answering posts with no responses or creating new discussions...e.g. posting a comment to me would not raise your post count so you should probably just rate it and not comment! :) Saves you time to post things that will add to your count! Good luck! :)
