Homemade or store bought?

We usually make our own desserts for the most part. I made a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. I think I might make some cookies, too, if I can't sleep tonight. We did buy a frozen pecan pie, but that was just because I thought they were too complicated and I wouldn't have time. I found a recipe that looks pretty easy, though. So I will probably make one for Christmas.

We generally buy our desserts and sweet treats! lol. But, my husband does dabble and make his own occasionally. Yum! He makes good pastries and crumbles!

I normally bake my own desserts. I brought a pecan pie because it was cheaper to buy it than to make it.

I have to make my own ...it's hard to find desserts like pies and cakes that are made for diabetics. I have to use soy, almond and/or all wheat flour and Splenda to sweeten them with. It would be nice to be able to purchase without having to do all this work. But it is worth it just to get to have dessert is a treat. My husband would never forgive me if I came home with store bought pies and cakes lol!!! I love to cook and bake so I make everything from scratch myself...:-)

My family makes our own pumpkin pie it is my grandmas receipe and it is so good! You can really tell the difference those store bought pies just don't make the cut. We make most of our own holiday desserts I like them to be homemade for the holidays.

well if its just another day i wud prefer to buy and munch of but its festival times or special occasion i wud love to all this from scratch.its saves lots of money for huge quantities!!

I dont like store bought deserts. They never taste the same as home made. I always bake pies and cookies from scratch. I have recipies that were my grandmothers and I use them. My favorite is the one for home made banana bread. Yummy!

I usually bake all my pies from scratch. This year with money so tight it was actually cheaper to buy 2 frozen pies on sale at wal-mart than to buy the needed ingredients to make them. I always make my cookies from scratch. I made cupcakes for my daughters class yesterday. Her birthday is tomorrow. I still need to bake her a cake for home today.

I bake my own desserts for everything. I love to bake. I do not buy any pre made pies or cookies. I think homemade taste so much better too.
