Sunil Gavaskar should be made the Indian team coach. Why should a foreign coach be appointed when there is so much of talent in India? Under Sunil Gavaskar's captaincy India has done reasonably well in winning several test series. His batting skills are known world-wide. He will defintely advice the openers like Sourav, Sehvag, Karthik and Jaffer in the art of opening the innings.
