i will show you a piece of painting created by a chinese contemporary artist-zhang xiaogang. that paiting was auctioned in USA recently.
so, your test comes! do you think how much it costs?

It may have been purchased for a lot, but it really does nothing for me. The colors were nice, the painting appeared to be well done, but the subject was so-so. It looked very linear. Does not float my boat.

That is quite an expensive painting. I can see that there is quite a bit of talent in the art, but I don't know as to why it is so expensive. I guess it's just not my taste.

Well that is certainly not my taste in art, I wouldn't give to $1 for that, I wonder what there is about it that it would cost that much, was it painted in pure gold maybe, anyway it earnt you a + because I rated the pic for you...hahahahah I hope you are not now going to tell us you painted it, because then I am going to feel bad...ahahahahh

Zhang Xiaogang seems to me to be a brilliant artist! I love the blues and the contrast of the gold...wonderful! If I had money to spend friviously, then I'd probably have tried to purchase it too...but hahaha..I'll never have that kind of dough! I had to peek at the pic, and noticed the price tag. Wow! Someone must have really, really wanted that bad.
