I have been robbed twice, and both of the time it was at midnight.. But it wasn't in the house, it was in the car.. We were sleeping, and the thiefs took out the stereos and batteries from both our cars.. Don't know how they managed to do it since we have alarms installed in both our cars.. We only got to know of it in the morning.. But from then on, we have been extra cautious.. We got a dog, then barbwired the walls.. And its been pretty safe since then...

3 times, I believe, but they were all when i was young. It was kids breaking into our house, but they always broke my bedroom window!

We left it upto the police. And it didn't take long either! It seems that loyalty amongst young offenders just doesn't exist!

I have not been robbed but in our rural our house was robbed several times. Then I study in school. Mostly in rainy day when some cold weather bring huge sleep on eye thief take much chance to do robbery of other's house. so at a rainy day we all family members were in deep sleep. Thief digged our floor from back side of house and entered into room, took suitcases, rice, other grains stored in drum and clothes. In the morning we saw our house was robbed of during our deep sleep.

Apparently, this has never happened to me and will never wish to happen. I'm sorry this has happened to you, I have seen some victims and how they felt so I know how traumatic that experience can be.
I don't let my guards down if possible, I always scan the place I am at and is always vigilant when walking or staying home, alone.

When I was a teenager, my stepbrother stole some money of mine. He was a little pervert and he and my stepsister had decided to play a trick on me. I was at that believe everything anyone tells you stage, since I had lived a very sheltered life. Needless I fell for the trick, but I never got that money back. I should have asked me dad to keep it for me, but at that time, my dad was of the opinion that girls did not need money, but boys did.
