It was a great knock by wasim jaffer. He is a solid opener tailor-made for the job. If the Indian team has a goo support for Jaffer, then the opening stand will be quite attractive. This is going to be a very important factor during the tour of Australia. A good opening stand relieves pressure on the later batsmen. The later batsmen can play rather freely. But if the team loses early wickets then, there will be a lot of pressure built up on the other lower order batsmen.

Wat a superlative effort it was from India and Specially Wasim jaffer. Elegance flowed through his bat on day 1 and pakistani bowlers cud just watch in amazement.
India stamped home the advantage and piled up 353 odd runs for 3 wickets. Wasim scored an unbeaten 191 and is receiving praise from all quarters. His on side drives were simply a treat to watch.let us all hope he scores many such big tons in australia as well
