Do you have good relationship with your mother in-law?

I detest my mother-in-law and I absolutely refuse to associate with her or anyone else in his family. I can't stand them. I haven't spoken to them in over a year and I hope I don't have to for another 10.

My ex-mother in law from my second marriage was a good person in the beginning of our marriage, until we moved next door to her. After that happened she was always in our business, trying to use us for whatever reason and then she started lying to my husband about things about me, causing arguments between us. It finally ended that we had to move away from her. It didnt' help the damage was already done. My mother in law now, is great. She isn't involved in our life, she is quite nice and good with the grandkids. We don't get to see her often, but we keep in contact by email and when she comes to the states we try to meet in Tampa where my family is. So my daughter can see her. So, I would have to say she is a very good mother in law!

well, she isn't quite my mother in-law...yet. her son and i aren't married yet, but we plan on it.. but i absolutely love her. she's a wonderful and caring person. i liked her before i even met her honestly. she's just very willing to do anything to help anyone. she too gets worried though, but for the same reason - she cares so much for both her son and me.
