When my son was in the hospital he had a room-mate (about 11 or 12 yrs old) that was alergic to practically everything. he was only able to eat rice and some beans it seemed. he was even alergic to hot and cold. temperature changes were very dangerous to him. What a difficult life he has. my mother was allergic to 100s of things when she was a child (having been born 12 weeks preemie in the 1940s - but she got measles for the second time and they say the high fever burned the allergies out of her and she has no problems since then. I am allergic to a couple of medications and then the regular dust and seasonal allergies so many of us have but I am not allergic to poison ivy (none of us in this family are)

Allergies.... well I'm not allergic to anything special but I'm allergic to the unknown. I"ll explain. I had all the tests done, and then some. I was never allergic to anything until I was about 30 years old when I develop an allergy to metal. I can't really wear any jewelry that it isn't nice 18K or up, so forget about all the nice earings and necklaces and rings.. LOL Still that was the only thing I would react too, and if I avoided it, I was fine. Some years after I developed this allergic reaction. It was serious enough. I even had anaphylactic shock and had to use the epipen. But the thing was.... after all the tests both me and doctors were back at the beginning. I wasn't reacting to any of the things they tested and they had no idea of what I was allergic to. They still don't. Good thing it didn't happen again. But it was quite scary at the time. It's bad enough when you know you are severely allergic to something, but even worse when you don't know where it's coming from grrrr SO I still carry an epipen just in case it comes back at some point, but thankfully it hasn't.

wow! I guess that would be scary! the not knowing and all. I wonder if it was an aireborne toxin and not a food or other "common" allergic reaction....

I am allergic to my daughters cat, some laundry detergents and soaps, some deodorants, and I am not absolutely positive on this, but I could be allergic to my husband hhahahahaha!

I'm not allergic to anything at all. There are a couple of foods that disagree with me and I don't tolerate aspirin very well, it tends to upset my stomach, but I wouldn't describe myself as allergic to any of those things. I could take them if I really had to without suffering any serious consequences.

I have many food allergies, so have to read ingredient panels while shopping. The worst one is peanuts, as I just smell them and feel terrible. I was a preemie and think that is part of the reason my allergies are so bad. My daughter has more allergies than me. She has to avoid tomato products, so gave up pizza. It was quite hard, as she had been eating it every week. The worst one is dairy, as the lactose was making her very sick; however, now our grocery store carries lactose free milk in the gallon size. Its a very common allergy.

I am allergic to shrimp paste because of my atopic dermatitis. I love to eat shrimp paste especially with green mangoes.

I am not allergic to too many things and nothing really unusual. I get seasonal allergies from pollens and molds. I am also allergic to pet dander, especially cats. I am also increasingly sensitive to dairy it seems. I used to be able to eat cereal with no problems at all. Now I get the worst stomach aches!
