Many a times it has been seen that some women or men prefer to solve their own problems without having to lean on someone, even if it is killing them. Some women or men would want moral support from their partners and friends when in trouble. What type are you ? I would love help, but would be brave if I did not get any.

It is always better to have someone to lean on. Look at the most successful people, they have what they call their inner circle. That's in the secular point of view.
The biblical point of view is that we still need to lean upon God for help. No man can stand alone. By all means, seek help.

I am not a leaner. I consider life a challenge and a continual learning experience. If I let someone else carry the load, I might miss out on too much. I like the challenges and fortunately life has not yet thrown me any curves that I could not handle.

I very rarely discuss my problems with anybody. But i am famous for helping others to solve their problems (LOL). May be I am not comfortable in pouring my heart out or may be i dont want to trouble others. Whatever the reason, i am a closed type person.
