Does anyone have any tips about walking for exercise? Does it make a difference if you walk on pavement or a grassy area, like in a park? What else does one need to keep in mind when it comes to walking for exercise?

Hello, kykidd! morning and evening walk is good for health,it may be long walk in the street or walking in the park does not matter.lone walking i do not prefer,a close friend should accompany me to have sweet talks which would please the mind.in addition to morning and evening walks try for a mild walk after supper because after supper walk a mile is good for body and mind.but you must then go to bed.thank you.have a good day.

As far as the toll it can take on the body, pavement may not be the best. Shin splints. For me keeping it up is key. Frequency. I have a treadmill. That way weather conditions cannot be used for excuses. In all honesty, even the treadmill doesn't always keep me from finding an excuse.I also find I walk better with some good tunes I enjoy playing in the background. Makes the time go faster.
