What genre do you write in and why? What ones would you never write in? I like to write children's books becuase most of the books I read to my kiddo's are dumb so I write ones that I like to read. And I like murder/love stories becuase it's just fun to manifest situations how you would like them to be.

I like to write children's and young adult books for the exact opposite reason. Because most of the ones I read are wonderful and I want to share in the experience. I'd never write horror, because I don't enjoy reading that type of story.

See this is why I wanted to know. It's so funny how one person's idea is the exact opposite of the others and they still enjoy doing the same thing. Crazy! Thanks for replying

I don't think I will be able to write children's book. In order to write a Children's book, you have to think like one, write the book in a vocabulary for kids to be able to understand the story. I am violent, I like horror, and paranormal stuff. I will go for the serial killer genre, for sure.

I write in the horror genre. It is what I do well.
