Every year at our family Christmas I bring a homemade gift. I have in the past years made ornaments...little hand stamped gift boxes filled with candy and other things to numerous to mention. This year I made candy bar holders out of Christmas paper and put a little poem on it about it being my Christmas candy since I didn't have time. Everyone looks forward to this little homemade gift. I always wait until after the big gifts are opened as it's just a little something extra. Do you make a little gift or favor to share at Christmas?

My mom used to make jewelery boxes covered in fabric with various beads, stitched flowers and leaves. They were gorgeous but too costly to make. I used to make ornaments, but now don't have the time. So we decided 2 years ago to start the cookie and small cake boxes. The family seems to love it because we make stuff they don't get to eat year round.

That is a wonderful idea. Everyone loves getting something that you put a little of your heart into!
