I ordered that Super Sawzall reciprocating saw (by Milwaukee) from Sears for my dh's Christmas present. Really excited to be able to get this one for him. $170 it was much more than I have ever been able to purchase him in our 20 years of marriage. Well the package arrived via UPS, and it did not look big enough - then I grabbed it and it did not weigh hardly anything! oh dear. I opened it up to find not the Milwaukee Sawzall but instead a craftsman battery pack for a cordless drill. WHAT? The lady at sears customer service said that they will contact me to have ups set up a time to pick up the mis-shipment and then they will send me the correct item... I am thinking, um - have UPS bring the correct item and we can exchange right then and there! have you ever ordered a big deal item to have a not so big deal item sent instead? I'm thinking whoever got the sawzall by accident is purty dern happy about that!

This has never happened to me. I feel for you. I think next I would have had it shipped to the store where I could have picked it up myself (I think sears does that)that way you won't have to worry about it being the wrong item sent to you. Hopefully they will get this straightened out here really soon!!

yes shipping to the store is a safer option, but the free shipping I got on this "deal" was more enticing than the 90 miles drive I'd have to make to go to the nearest sears store (catalog store)
