www.helium.com does have a "creative writing" category with a subcategory for poetry. They don't pay a lot; but, you do get paid for page views.

We all make pennies for everything we write for Helium! Not just poetry!

But, those pennies do add up and if you can enter and win the weekly contests or get an article bought through their market place it is dollars that you earn.
I have been there about a year and a half now and have almost earned $500, so far.

As far as I know, there are no sites that pay upfront for poetry. Most of the ones that accept poetry only pay per page view.
Like the guy above said, you could try helium (very good site)-page view only.
You can also try AssociatedContent-page view only.
There's also Gather-page view only
Fictionfactor has a list of publishers that pay for poetry and what they're looking for.
Constant Content only allows poetry if a publisher specifically asks for it (but if they do you get real payment, not per-view payment).
You can try featuring your poetry on squidoo or hubpages-both are page view only.
I found this list of Magazines that pay for poetry. I don't know how reliable this list is or how easy it is to get published, but here's the list:

those are some great suggestions, even if they might only be page view sites...i have never heard of gather or fictionfactor, so i will have to check them both out.
Thanks for your answer!
