Okay friends and other members alike, I wish to thank all of your for all the thoughts, prayers, sympathy shown, compassion etc through out the ordeal of my brother-in-laws short fight with leukemia. I had to delete all the sympathy comments for it was too sad of a reminder but they were each greatly appreciated. I hope I offend noone in the deletion process. You all were a heaven sent gift during these trying times that helped me get through this much better than if I had not been on here at all during that time. Once again thank you all. Each and everyone of you. Especially you someoneonesmom. You are the greatest. There are too many to name individually but someonesmom was in contact with me a whole lot and that's the one members name that came to mind. But a huge thanks to all of you goes out. My wife is as grateful as I am for all your support etc as well. Thanks again. May you be blessed throughout your life as I was during those times.

Hi hon. I just went and responded to your post about the passing of your brother in law, but I wanted to stop here and apologize to you once again. I'm late on the draw as usual, and I did not even know about what happened until just a few minutes ago when I read your other post. Please forgive me hon. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad that people here were able to help you through it all. Great big hugs to you and your family my friend. Take care, and if you need a shoulder or to vent, I'm here for you...just a PM away.

No needs for ap[ologies really. We can't all be here when something like this occurs so it's understood. Don't worry about it at all please. I'm going to cry soon now. HAHAHAHA!! Thanks for thwe offer for the shoulder to cry on. But set a towel on the shoulder if I need to use it though. HAHAHA! Thanks again for everything.

Oh Grandpa BOB...You put a tear in my eye. Im so sorry to here your brother didnt make it. He fought a good fight though. And remember he will always be in your heart!! May the kisses of an angel {your brother} cover and protect you always!!

I did not mean to make anyone cry. Hee hee! It was my brother-in-law actually. And he is watching over his sister and myself from within our spirits and heart I am sure. Thanks.

When we are facing big or little losses the support of friends is a God send, literally. If we let Him, God sends people who will lift us up, and hold us up, and I am so thankful that He does this. I know that through AA you express Him as your Higher Power, and you are so correct He is higher than we ever can aspire to be. I am glad that you and Deb had people around, and on here, to comfort you and lift you up. Merry Christmas to you, and God Belss.

Yes he does send what or whom we need at the right times. I also had a lot of support from a group of my A.A. friends as well. They also were God sent. Thanks bunches to you as well.

Soory to hear Grandpa Bob. I have not been here till the last couple of days, but had I known, be sure to know I would have been right there (here) for you!
There really are great people here. That is why no matter how many times I 'take a break' I will not delete my account because I know I will want to come back to see all your wonderful people here.

Hi, Grandpa Bob. My sincere condolences to you and your family. I did not know about your BIL because I wasn't here a lot, but you have my sympathy nonetheless. He is no longer in pain and he is in a much better place. You take care and God bless.... My prayers go for your BIL, you and your family.

That's what friends are for, Grandpa Bob and Grandma Deb. To lend support when/as needed. I just feel bad that you didn't get to say good-bye to your BIL b4 he followed in Jesus' footsteps is all. HUGS to you both!

Dear friend, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I was not active here for sometime, so I missed the event. However, I am touched by the way the friendship here mattered a lot for you during your time of ordeal. Such small matters matter the most in our life, I guess. Let me hope that you overcome the grief soon and accept the fact that your dear brother has a left a part of him in you and all the ones he loved.

I'm so glad that I was able to bring you 'even a little comfort,' and I can relate to what you've said about seeing 'special messages etc.,' in the in box. They really do help. I'll keep doing my best. This is one of the things I truly love, about this site, the close connections we can develop through 'really' getting to know some wonderful, caring people.:)

AGB I so wish I was there for you during that time but i am glad that others were! Somonesmom is fantastic and I am sure she looked after you well, she is so caring. I am sure no one minded you deleting the responses - we can all understand how hard it would have been for you. Hugs xxx

Thankyou so very much. This is the kind of things this thank you is for. Non friends coming in support in situations such as my loss. Thanks again. But, please, I prefer being called Grandpa Bob. HAHAHA!!
