What do you think about the AIDS campaigns?

Well, I think we are bombarded with AIDS campaigns. Not that I don't think AIDS is a real threat, I do, I understand what AIDS does, but I think there is way more campaigns and money spent, than the victims of this disease. Why is AIDS so fancy, and the real killer diseases are being ignored? There is so little campaigns for heart diseases prevention, cancer, tuberculosis, etc. And they are killing everywhere, everyday.

You're so right. I used to be terrified of HIV. But the medicine is so good now, look at Magic Johnson, its unbelievable. Yet Obesity & Heart Disease and many other problems don't get near the publicity. I don't have the stats but I think Heart Disease is a much bigger problem than AIDS now.

Yes, the heart diseases are the number one killer in the modern world. About 1 million people only in the USA die every year as a result of an heart disease. To compare, AIDS causes about 3 million deaths per year worldwide. If you compare that in USA live about 250-300 million of people, and the total world population is about 6.5 billion, you can see the difference.
