Funny Waitress Story

The wife and I went to the Red Dragon for lunch last weekend after seein the Minnesoat Orchestra in a Christmas Show. After ordering our waitress came with the thermos of coffee and my cup. As she unscrewed the cap on the thermos it splashed a bit getting on the table as well as my arm. Very minimal remind you but still a splash. After setting the pot down she saw the spots on the table and apologized saying, "Im sorry I splashed you didn't I?" I laughed saying, "That's okay the blisters will heal in a few days." She laughed as did I. Now each time she came to refill my coffe I would hold a napkin up shielding my arm laughing. She loved my sense of humor and it made her really comfortable with her slight mishap. I love having a swerver that can take a joke and not be upset over something they did wrong. So have you had any similiar type of experience with wait staff anytime you went out to eat? Please share.

The worst waitress ive ever had i think her name was debbie oh shes awful i mean i have to get my own drinks even clear my own table. And then I have to listen to her politics too...............but shes got a sense of humor i mean look who she married.

My worst waitress experience was recently at a family owned restaraunt. I think her name was Nora and she sat on the phone as I waited for service. HAHAHAHA! just joking. Oh jeeze, thanks. She married one hell of a man I think. But then again....? Hee hee!

i had worked in customer service for more than 3 years now and i really appreciate customers like you grandpa bob... yes, i do make mistake every now and then and i am really happy when the customers not making a big fuss abut it... especially if i have apologised... anyway, we are only humans and humans are not perfect... and a smile really goes a long way to lift up somebody's spirit... so well done to you grandpa bob... i wish i can have more customers like you... have a merry christmas...

Years ago, when I was a new watiress, I put a tray of salads on a table while I served it and one of the salads flipped onto the floor. It didn't get on anyone, luckily, but I sure did hear about it for quite some time!
I tried to be more careful after that, definitely, and it's something I will never forget! So embarrassing LOL!
