Do you own a bread maker? What kind do you have? How often do you use it? I have a Breadman bread maker and it is fun to use. I use it to make dinner rolls, bagels, pretzels, French bread, and even Chinese dim sum like cha sui bao...What do you use yours for?

Yeah it's fun to make bread. That is way too much for my pocket book...$400 dollars for a machine? Now that is crazy unless that machine can put in the ingredients itself hahaha...it's like $60-400 but the $400 one is like the top of the line the supreme one...I just have the cheap one but hey it works really good...

you've motivated me to look up some recipes. I rarely use mine and end up forgetting I even have one. I've never tried anything but wheat bread in it and that usually ends up collapsing before it's finished. I think pretzels would be terrific to make.

I did have one but I don't anymore. It got ruined in the hurricanes and part of the parts got lost so I threw it away when I had to move.
I do miss the smell and the warm bread. I use to make all kinds of fruit loafs.
The smell of the spices fill the house and it did taste so much better than the ones we buy in the store. I think it would be a big help now that I have Diabetes...at least I would know what was really in my bread. guess i'll look for another one this weekend. I do miss waking up to the smell of coffee and fresh bread. Yes, it's time for a new coffee maker too.

I dont have one, but my mom owns one and she uses it all the time to make bread, and pizza dough. I am not sure if she has made anything else with it as of yet, but the pizza dough and the different kinds of breads that you can make with it are really good.

I bought a bread maker last week and I tried the first time to make bread. I have to say it's not so successful as the bread is hard. I think it's because I made a mistake to measure the material. I hope next time I will make a professional bread.
