Can you believe that? A beaver in California was sentenced to death for gnawing some trees. I could not believe what I read.
"A local beaver who is making a mess of trees near the Kern Recreational Bike Path has been given the death sentence for its crimes."
Anybody from California here? What do you think of that? Is there no other way? I feel sorry for that poor Beaver...

Beavers are just animals that are doing what comes natural to them. I believe that they should try to find anew home for it if possible. sometimes that is not always possible. There are so many predatory animals that have been killed so that the other animals have become overpopulated and humans are suffering because of their own mismanagement of the wildlife. In cases where the animals are to populated then they probably need to have some of their population thinned down. Since beavers are not endangered, it will not diminish the quality of the beavers t have one taken out of the wild.

If Europeans had not come over here to what is now the United States of America and screw up the natural system as they have then this beaver and many other animals would not be "punished" as they are now. The other thing that i have to ask is what are they going to do with the beaver carcass? Hopefully it will not go to waste but rather can be used for many purposes.

The world is really a place of odds and unexplainable things. Even an animal who can not even defend itself is being punished for a crime it does not even know is a crime. Poor creature, how pathetic the person who filed a case against that animal.

What a sad thing to happen. The beaver was only doing what came naturally to him. What the people should have done if they didn't like him around, was to cach him in a live trap, and release him somewhere else.
