Top O' the Tree

What graces the top of your Christmas Tree?
is it an Angel tree topper you go for or a Star?
Why?
What does it look like?

my family always had an angel in my growing up years and I would very much like to keep with that tradition but have yet to find an angel figure that appeals to me
so we use an 8pointed star. I remember in our early marriage I tried to fashion one out of foil and cardboard - oh what a disaster. our current topper is frosted plastic (yick) wiod though.

What graces the top of my christmas tree is a hand crafted angle that was crafted by an angle herself- my grandmother. I place it on top of my tree each year in rememberance of her, and everything that she has done for me and my family.

I have a beautiful Angel on the top of our tree. I love angels. They look so good on to of the tree. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas

My kids make something every year for the top of the tree. They can make anything they want...a picture star angel anything. They usually make a picture of the family and they draw it on construction paper. I save it from year to year and add it to our decorations for the tree. We have a very tall vaulted ceiling so our tree is very very tall...allowing us to display the kids artwork from year to year. Its a great tradition and neat to see the kids pics improve every year.

We have a star on the top of the tree. I don't remember why we picked it, but we've had it for several years now.
