A few days ago my mother had received a strange envelope in the mail. It was addressed to her and the senders address was also hers. And inside there was no note, but in between two taped index cards was a $50 gift card to a grocery store. When she had saw that she started crying because with that card she could now afford to buy some food for our christmas dinner...Has anybody out there ever heard of anything like this before or anything similar happen to you?

It brings tears to my eyes to. It was probably one of her "angel" friends. That is nice of them.

My mom thought it might be someone from church. I told her that when she goes to church to look out to see if anyone might be looking at her funny, but nothing.

OMG that is beautiful, wouldn't this be a nice idea for anyone who knows someone who could do with a bit of a lift, you know I think I would like to do something like this I do give presents to a family that doesn't have much but I like the idea of anonimity of it all....I am really going to work on this for next year or maybe even during the year, good deeds should be done all year round...thank you for sharing this, it has given me back the faith in humanity that I was losing...

I know on another website that I am on, there have been people that have done this for another "internet friend" knowing that they wouldn't have Christmas dinner without it. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story. There still is hope for this world after all.
