My daughter asked Santa for snow. And she got it. On Dec 15th it snowed. She built her snowman with her daddy we made snow angels. And she threw snowballs at him too. But a week later it hit 50 degrees, the Snowman melted. and so did all the snow. She wanted a white Christmas. It didn't happen. We told her next year, she'd have to be more specific. HA! keep your fingers crossed. Glad you had a white christmas.

Awe thats so sweet! At least she got some snow. Thats usually what happens here. It snows for a couple days in december then the rain washes it away. Tell her good things come to those who wait. I waited 24 years for my white christmas... But I got it! I'll keep my fingers crossed for her too.

I live in Pittsburgh, Pa and it I only remember it snowing 2 or 3 times on Christmas here. We get a lot of snow on the other days. It actually hasn't snowed much at all this year. I think if its going to be cold, it should snow.

We get a few inches a few times a year on average. Its never the same. 4 years ago it snowed almost everyday, but this year only twice. I personally dont think its a hassle. I love driving in the snow for some strange reason. I think its great for the kids too.

How much snow do you usually get in Winter? Is it a hassel? We only get a bit of snow and then it usually is washed away by the rain. This often causes a lot of flooding and a lot of accidents. i've found that the weather has gotten more extreme in the past years. I think it may be due to global warming.

This is awful, I don't remember! I know it didn't snow, but I don't think it was sunny either. I think it was just a grey overcast day. I do remember my van was broken and my son was on leave from the Navy. And I sat in one of those awful folding seats in my husband's truck. If you have ever wanted to do this, just take it off of your list of to do's. It is not a pleasant experience.

Awe thats really too bad. Its usually just raining and grey and dark here. Its very strange that we get snow. Well at least you got to see your son at the holidays. I don't think I've ever sat on a folding seat in a truck but I have sat on the ground before.

I live in Pennsylvania. it didn't snow here and there was no snow on the ground either. We usually have some snow. It was in the low 40's the whole week before Christmas. I'm not complaining though, it was nice lugging all our kids to all the grandmas without having to trek through all the snow.

No doubt! A little snow is good but too much is a drag. Drving can be dangerous too. I remember this one year I was moving out for january 1st. It snowed on December 31st. The next day I had to move all my stuff in the snow. Luckily it was the first time I moved out so I didn't have much to cart around.

hello Monkey. no, it sure did not snow here in this portion of the Ozarks on Christmas day and the little bit of snow we received during the week preceding was all melted by Christmas morning. :( I hail from the snow belt originally and I sure do miss it at times. Though I can do without the shoveling it would be nice to have a bit on the ground for Christmas :)

Awe Its so disapointed when the snow melts away before Christmas. I really don't like snow overall but a little bit is festive. I'm not a big fan of all the shovelling as you said. The snow we have here quite often melts away from the rain. In fact on the first weekend of december we had beautful powered snow for two days. I think we had close to 3 feet. Then it started to pour rain and within 8 hours it was all gone.

I sped Christmas in Arizona, last year. It was nie and GREEN!!!! My husband and I spent the day in the hot tub. I don't like snow. I don't even like snow for Christmas. It just gets in the way, and makes it harder to drive!!!
